About the event
Suwanee City is excited to host various Food Truck-friendly events throughout 2023, mostly at Town Center Park unless stated otherwise. All events are free to attend, rain or shine! The deadline for applications is March 31, 2023. Our most popular event, Food Truck Fridays, will take place on June 2, July 7, and August 4, and feature a variety of food trucks serving delicious cuisine starting at 5:30 pm. Attendees can also enjoy free entertainment during the event. The fee for selected dates is $100 per truck.
Other City-sponsored events include the Red, White, Bluegrass, and Bach Memorial Day concert on May 26, Movies Under the Stars on June 10, July 15, and October 28, the Suwanee Summer Porch Jam on June 16, and the Jolly Holly Day (tree lighting and stage concert) on December 1. Please note that our largest event, Suwanee Fest, has a separate registration page, and private organizations plan several events held at the park, each with their own vendor applications, fees, and deadlines.
Trucks can apply for any or all dates, and the application fee is $20, which is non-refundable. The event fee per vendor ranges from $75 to $100 and will be billed later for selected vendors. Depending on the size and nature of the event, we may accept between 4-10 vendors per event. The City of Suwanee reserves the right to limit trailer vendors and determine the "mix" of food types, giving preference to trucks without a tow vehicle.
All vendors will be notified of their acceptance in April. Vendors cannot sell after 9:30 pm, and only accepted vendors who have paid their fee will be permitted. Additionally, all events are outside and are rain or shine, and the average attendance for most events is 2,000+. If you have any questions, please contact Kim Towne at ktowne@suwanee.com or 770.945.8996.
Please note that the City of Suwanee assumes no liability or responsibility for injury or loss that may occur on the premises or under Food Truck events, and any vendor fees paid will support Suwanee's public art initiative.
