Join us for the Suwanee Art Center's Lantern-Making Workshops, in partnership with the City of Suwanee, for the upcoming April 22 Glow in the Park lantern parade! Create your own illuminated costumes and pre-made, battery-powered lanterns to participate in the approximately one-mile community parade through the streets surrounding Town Center Park. This family and pet friendly electrical spectacle is not to be missed!

Registration is only $30 and includes everything you need to get started: 1 paper lantern, 1 bamboo stick, 1 LED light, and decorating supplies. All ages are welcome, but children 8 years or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Class sizes are limited to 5-10 students, so be sure to visit the Suwanee Art Center to register and secure your spot.

Can't make it to the workshops? DIY paper lantern kits are available for purchase at the Suwanee Art Center! Choose from a variety of colors and sizes, with prices varying. Pick up your kit and decorate at home to join in on the fun of the Glow in the Park lantern parade.
