The day will look a little different than it has in the past, with events beginning at 8am through 10pm that evening. The tentative schedule is as follows:

8:00 am to 11:00 am

• 5K run starting at 9:00 am.

• 1 Mile Journey Walk starting at 10:00 am. This Journey will begin with you carrying a weighted bag (which represents a cancer diagnosis) the duration of the course. Throughout this Journey, you'll have opportunities to (temporarily) set your bag down, get relief from the American Cancer Society and learn about what we do to help cancer patients while they're on their Journey. As participants cross the finish line, they will not only get to drop their weighted bag but will ring a bell to signify 'treatment' is over.
